We believe in working with parents as partners, as we believe parents are their child's first and most endured educators. We recognise the important role parents have already played in the development of their child to date and appreciate that continued involvement is crucial to their child's success.
We maintain strong links with parents and hold regular parents evenings, as well as being available throughout the day, to discuss any aspects of a child’s nursery experience.
- Home Visits
We offer each child who attends Rainbows Haslington the opportunity to take part in a Home Visit, which provides an ideal opportunity for parents to meet the key workers who may be appointed to their child, also the Supervisor or Manager who will be on hand to offer expansion on any topic of Nursery care or educational curriculum via the Early Years Foundation Stage. Transitions are a very important part of the introduction to Nursery life, and parents should try to use this time to engage in a meaningful dialog with staff, to ensure that the initial socialization visit to Nursery is a happy, easy transition.
